RUN/WALK/RIDE EVENT WAIVER
RUNNING EVENT WAIVER PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT (THE “WAIVER AGREEMENT”) CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS WAIVER AGREEMENT WILL AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND WILL LIMIT OR ELIMINATE YOUR ABILITY TO BRING A FUTURE LAWSUIT.
I know that running/walking/cycling is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run/walk/ride unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run/walk/ride. I hereby certify that I am in good health and I have trained to run/walk/ride the distance of the race, which I am entering. I assume all risks associated with running/walking/cycling in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other partici¬pants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry into this running/walking race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Estates of Clear Creek HOA., its officers, directors, agents, volunteers and employees, all states, cities, including but not limited to the Magnolia, TX, countries or other governmental bodies or locations in which events or segments of events are held, all sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that skateboards, roller skates or inline skates, animals, and radio headsets are not allowed in the event and I will abide by this guideline. Cycling participants will be required to wear proper attire and a safety helmet.

is hosting a Fun Run/Bike Ride & Easter Egg hunt on
Saturday, March 27, 2010 (raindate April 3)
This event is designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, neighborhood friendships and family fun.
We will start the morning at 8:30 am with a 9 mile bike ride, at 8:45 am the fun run/walk will commence and at approximately 10 am we will begin the annual Easter egg hunt.
All participants 14 and older will pay a $20 entry fee while our younger runners/walkers/bikers (13 and under) are free.
Gold Level - For a donation of $100 you may display a company banner, your logo will be on the back of our t-shirt, and name recognition at the sign-in/gifting table.
Silver Level - For a donation of $50 your logo will be on the back of our t-shirt and name recognition at the sign-in/gifting table.
Bronze Level - For a donation of $25 or a similar amount of product for participant prizes and name recognition at the sign-in/gifting table.

ECC Workday to be Re scheduled
Spring Workday and Cookout at the Park
ECC Board would like to invite all the neighbors to help in doing some maintenance work in the common areas. Then we plan on having a hot dog cookout at the lake when the work is completed.
Below is the list of chores:
Power wash fences at lakes and park-we need to paint same fences but don't think we can do both on the same day.
Replace the planks on the pier at the lake at the park
Add plants and mulch at both entrances
Repaint the green posts on signs at the entrances and the lakes.
Fix or replace the gate at the park lake
Fix door on pump house at the park lake.
Materials that would be helpful in these projects:
Power washer
carpenter tools
paint brushes
rags
planting (gloves, shovels, etc)
I hope to have the planks for the pier, plants, and mulch delivered.
If there is anyone that would like to plan and take the cook out at the park over, I would love the give this part of the day to anyone who would like to do it.
Please respond if you would be available to participate in the Work Day, so that we can plan for the activities, as well as food. If you know of some boy or girl scout or school groups that need some community service hours, let us know.

Monthly Board Meetings
Please note the montly meeting will be held Thursday Mar 25, 7pm for open session at Sawmill Grill on Nichols Sawmill. All property owners are invited to attend monthly board meetings. There is an open discussion session from 7 - 8 p.m. The ECC Board of Directors meets, if deemed necessary by the board. Meeting dates are on the 4th Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.
A representative from the management company (CKM) attends these board meetings.
